Double Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookies

These make my teeth hurt and hunt for milk. (They send me hunting for milk that is, not my teeth.)

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup dutch process cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 (12-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (8-ounce) package toffee bits

Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Beat in eggs until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chip and toffee bits. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
