Due to stress and other reasons, tonight there was baking. I could eat this dough happily without ever turning it into cookies. In other news, my PC wireless mouse is on crack. It might want new batteries.
1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 C brown sugar, packed
1/2 C vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 C chopped walnuts
indeterminate amount of powdered sugar
Melt chocolate over low heat, combine with sugar and oil, add eggs one at a time, beat well, add vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts.
Chill dough for one hour.
Drop teaspoons of dough into powdered sugar and roll to coat. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake in 350 degrees F oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool on rack.
